SuccessionKeeper

My 401k balance showed zero one day. A major institution had flagged my active account as abandoned because two of their departments never spoke to each other. Getting my money back took three months, notarised documents and repeated calls across time zones during COVID. My wife had a vague idea the account existed but no details. That is an extreme version of a very common problem. £89 billion sits unclaimed in UK accounts and pensions alone but this is a growing global problem. My co-founder Deyan Nenov and I built SuccessionKeeper because we needed it ourselves. I spent 17 years across BlackRock, Apollo and Lone Star Funds. Deyan built infrastructure for Amazon and Autodesk. We built the thing we wished existed.SuccessionKeeper is a private, encrypted vault where you record your accounts, pensions, properties and assets - not to access them, but so your family always has a starting point. What makes it different: we check in with you regularly at a frequency you set. If you stop responding, your primary nominee is contacted first. Once that process is exhausted, all your nominated contacts receive the information you chose to record. A living record, not a forgotten document.Login credentials are never required. Account numbers and balances are optional.AES-256 encryption. Google Cloud. UK hosted. GDPR compliant.£4/month. 14-day free trial, no card required.
